Yep, I think you can probably just call me ignorant! Ignorant of meat-based products, anyway. I HAVE heard of Gala pie, though.

I remember veal and egg pie, my Grandma used to have them. I was only about 6, but I recall not liking it and just eating the egg out of the middle… she used to get Gala pies in for me instead. Essentially the same thing but with pork instead of veal.
