Hm. I don't have a problem with giving children something to ease symptoms of illness at all, but I don't think this type of emotional blackmail is quite on, do you?
Thanks for the link, that was really interesting!

Also, Aspirin is no longer given to children (since the 1980s), because it increases the risk of them contracting Reye's syndrome.
